THE QUEEN'S BEEKEEPER
v. № 2 | The Botanist
NOTE: Currently curing in the studio.
Dispatches October 14th
♦︎
A portrait of a sultry afternoon suspended in the still heat of the royal apiary, where sacred grounds meet the wild, untamed estate.
Sun-warmed beeswax and serene hinoki wood meld with smoldering olibanum and golden nectar, capturing the visceral essence of sunlight locked in wax. Beneath this radiant warmth, a deep base of dark meadow blooms, earthy cypriol, and rich labdanum unfolds—grounded, intoxicating and entirely transcendent.

The botanist's seal
Framed in gold foil, the lid of the Saint O'Niell Alchemy candle box features a medallion of Joseph Pitton de Tournefort (1656-1708), the French botanist commissioned by Louis XIV for the Royal Botanical Gardens. His pioneering work near Versailles remains the intellectual foundation of our botanical studies.
This seal is our tribute to the rigorous mastery and aristocratic grit of the King's own botanist—a lineage of exacting observation that remains the pulse of every Saint O'Niell formulation.
