Saint O'Niell Alchemy is a boutique chandlery located in Mill Valley, CA creating artistic candles and exceptional quality oils and parfum.
Our luxury scented candle collection fills a void we believe exists in a market awash in a sea of mediocrity. Our uncommon, sophisticated scent profiles are rich and complex, evocative of nature in her dynamic forms. The scents conjure memories, moods and emotions associated with familiar places, intimate moments in time, persons we hold dear, wafts of gourmand delights.
Our Chief Chandler enjoys decades of professional experience in the design industry, specifically, fashion design (see WWD, "Suits: The Ones to Watch", June 1993), interior design and corporate strategic design. Having poured candles as an avocation much of her life, it became her sole focus in 2020. Mixing and testing oils* in the studio led to the development of a proprietary wax blend. Consultations with scientists led to the crafting of the perfect hair styling oil. Saint O'Niell Alchemy found its beginning.

BRAND NAME ORIGIN
Our Founder is descended from New Orleanian lineage.
Saint O’Niell is her maternal surname, originating from the marriage of her grandparents, Belle Saint + James O’Niell.
- (Isa)Belle Saint was the daughter of Percy Saint, Louisiana Attorney General
- James O’Niell, was the son of Charles Austin O’Niell, Louisiana State Supreme Court Justice, aka., “Chief”; presiding 33 years, he was then the longest-serving State Supreme Court Justice in the country.
- The two gentlemen served simultaneously.
