Founder's Vision
Saint O'Niell Alchemy is an atelier of olfactory architecture based in Mill Valley, creating artistic candles and restorative beauty oil compositions for hair and body.
Our luxury candles are a study in scent beyond the expected—layered, sophisticated compositions that capture nature, memory and mood, grounding the abstract into tangible sensory experiences.
The vision is steered by Isabelle, whose creative trajectory was forged through an early immersion in global brand identity alongside top-tier industry leadership, before leveraging that sharp visual acumen into successful careers in both fashion and interior design. Recognized by Women's Wear Daily as one of the top fashion designers to watch in the United States, Isabelle brings a proven track record of creating, producing and selling to the country's premier luxury department stores.
In 2020, she channeled this lifetime of luxury design pedigree entirely into her decade-long candlemaking practice. Engineering a proprietary wax blend and consulting with industry scientists to perfect her hair and body oil formulations, she translated her visual design language into the sensory world. From this intersection of art and science, Saint O'Niell Alchemy was born.

BRAND NAME ORIGIN
Saint O'Niell is named for a marriage — the union of Belle Saint and James O'Niell in New Orleans, where two families of consequence converged.
- On one side stood Percy Saint, who served as Attorney General of Louisiana.
- On the other, Charles Austin O’Niell — aka., "Chief" — longtime Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court, whose 33 years on the bench marked one of the longest tenures in American history.
Their legacies were shaped by vigilance, deliberation and the enduring weight of decision.
Saint O'Niell Alchemy carries that inheritance forward — not in rulings but in ritual, in carefully conceived compositions and in knowing that quiet permanence is established through disciplined artistry over time.
